Dysport is most effective at treating: Crow’s feet (lines around the eyes), Forehead wrinkles, Frown lines between the eyebrows. Your results should last approximately 12-16 weeks. Are neuromodulator treatments painful?
In most cases, neuromodulators are a quick, easy procedure that takes just a few minutes and produces lasting results.
Neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport involve only a slight pinching sensation from the needle. If that is a concern for you, we can provide additional comfort measures during your neuromodulator procedure. Ice packs can numb your skin before and after the procedure.
What are neurotoxins or neuromodulators?
It is possible to use neurotoxins, also known as neuromuscular toxins, to prevent wrinkles from forming due to repetitive muscle movements, and to smooth wrinkles that may appear as a result of natural aging. Neurotoxins relax muscles that cause wrinkles and lines on the face. By ensuring consistent neurotoxin touch-ups and follow-ups every 3-6 months, less neurotoxin may be required each time.

It sounds like Botox® treatments take a while. Is this true?
This is not true! Botox® cosmetic injections can be completed easily in less than 15 minutes, as quick as your lunch break.
What are the possible side effects of neurotoxins?
Like any cosmetic injection treatment, there can be some localized effects at the injection site. These effects can include redness, swelling, bleeding or bruising. These effects are usually mild, short-lived and self-limiting, usually disappearing after a few days.
Some patients have reported having flu-like symptoms after their Botox injections, including headaches, fatigue and muscle pain. There are also some reports of dry mouth, dry eyes and droopy eyelids. Although these adverse effects are rare.
What downtime is associated with neurotoxin treatment?
None. After your Botox® treatment at LMC – Laser Medical Clinic, you are free to resume your daily activities right away.
